Important Napoleon III fireplace garniture consisting of a central clock and its two matching five-light candelabra in spelter - veined red griotte marble, late 19th century. Titled "The Spring", the sculpture depicts a young woman refreshing herself at the spring. Signed by Auguste Moreau. Paris movement – French manufacture from the late 19th century. Very beautiful decorative presence with its significant dimensions, richly veined red marble, and rococo gilt bronzes. The set comes with its key and pendulum. Note: The movement starts but requires servicing (not necessary for decorative use). Some signs of age (corner of a marble re-glued, nothing significant) and minor wear consistent with age.
