1960s “Pernilla” Chair + ottoman by Bruno Mathsson for DUX, Sweden

A lovely “pernilla” easy chair with matching ottoman / foot stool, designed by bruno mathsson and manufactured by dux in sweden around 1960. The chair and stool are made of high quality beech wood, upholstered in beautiful beige / brown fabric with canvas mounting. The curved design of the pieces not only gives them a nice appeal, but also a fantastic seating comfort! The upholstered armrests and addition headrest pillow all add nicely to this comfort. Chair sizes: w. 85 X d. 80 X h. 98 (sh. 28) cm. Stool sizes: w. 62 X d. 68 X h. 40 cm. It has the designer and manufacturer’s mark carved into the frame! The set remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
