Antique 19th century fireplace screen, 5-panel spark arrester

Antique fireplace screen dating from the end of the 19th century, made of iron and copper. The mesh of the 5 panels is remarkably well made, and this is what makes it a rare and sought-after screen. The handles are beautifully decorated with golden shells. It has been deliberately left in its original state, with its many traces, marks of use and dirt which testify to its age and authenticity! It must have witnessed long evenings by the fire, so it is your turn to make it live some beautiful memories! Several small parts are no longer held by the wire which goes around the screen, but this in no way prevents its use and protection against fire. Keep in mind that this is a very old piece, its marks and signs of age make it a unique piece with a history. Total dimensions: 169 cm long / 54 cm high (excluding handles).
