Antique brass and iron mesh spark guard with 4 panels – Early 20th century

Elegant antique fireplace spark guard with four articulated panels, dating from the early 20th century. Its folding structure in patinated bronze-coloured metal consists of four panels of fine iron mesh, framed with mouldings and topped with small decorative elements. Two lovely scroll-handled grips complete the ensemble. A beautiful antique piece, with a graphic and refined silhouette, as decorative as it is functional. It shows a marked old patina, with signs of oxidation and wear. The joints are functional and the metal mesh has no holes. Dimensions: Height: 48 cm, 52 cm with handles.
