Plant stand or side table with two solid wood trays, probably made of cherry or stained beech. It is traditionally used to display a green plant (on top), a lamp, or decorative objects. The lower tray often allows for placing books or a second small pot. Neo-classical or Directoire style, identifiable by its turned spindle legs and uprights with decorative rings. The small gallery or mini balustrade on the upper tray is a charming finishing detail that originally served to prevent objects placed on it from sliding, while adding an elegant touch. It is a very practical accent piece as it takes up little floor space while providing a nice height to showcase an element of your decor. This piece dates from the second half of the 20th century (1950s to 1980s). Good condition. Width 36, height 73, depth 30.
