LCF Le Couvert Français cutlery set 60 place settings dessert table modernist design 1950

This superb vintage cutlery set is composed of 60 table settings from the silversmith LCF - Le Couvert Français. Made of hallmarked silver metal, this set includes 12 table knives, 12 table forks, 12 soup spoons, 12 teaspoons and 12 cake forks, as well as a ladle. Made of silver metal from the Le Couvert Français goldsmith house, this model is adorned with a simple molding decoration. This modernist design service dates from the 1950s. The LCF firm was founded in Draney in the Vosges in 1862, it is a renowned French silversmith. The silverware is of very good quality and hallmarked "100" for the silverware weight. All pieces are marked "LCF" for the silversmith's hallmark. In good condition, they have fine scratches from use and traces of oxidation.
