Seasonal Shapes No. 1

For this series of works entitled "Seasonal Shapes", I was inspired by shapes I encountered on my path during my daily walks. The compositions are therefore very plant-inspired but remain free of interpretation thanks to the magic of abstraction. The creative process is quite similar to my usual work on paper: I trace my abstract compositions in pencil and then I fill the shapes with acrylic paint. I paint on a so-called "rag" paper which is very thick and allows me to give a nice relief by cutting it out to present it in the form of a collage. Framed under glass in oak-finish aluminum. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
