Set of six Danish oak diningchairs , CH46, by Hans J. wegner for Carl Hansen & Son, 1970s

Beautiful set of 6 oak dining table chairs designed by Hans J. Wegner and produced by Carl Hansen & Son, Denmark 1970s. The elegant oak chairs with armrests have a seat made of stretched rope (paper cord). The chairs belong to the first owner who bought them 40-50 years ago for his architectural firm. The chairs are marked on the underside of the armrest. Good vintage condition. The oak wooden frames are neat. Some armrests have some minor damage to the front (see photo). The frames also have signs of wear that are consistent with their age. The papercord seats are still well tensioned. The seats have always had cushions on them, causing minimal signs of wear.
