Chair Robert Mallet-Stevens n°222, anthracite gray metal

Iconic chair designed by architect Robert Mallet-Stevens, a major figure of French modernism and co-founder of the Union of Modern Artists in 1929. This model No. 222 is here in reissue, with a marking under the seat. Structure in anthracite gray lacquered steel tube with a textured finish, rounded backrest with flat slats, solid seat in sheet metal. A clean and graphic line, both light and robust.
