Tubor chair by Ecart International

3 tubor chairs by ecart international (1980s) model in beautifully crafted black lacquered steel. Pads under the seat (to stack them without scratching them) and under the base the tubor initially dates from the 1930s and was popularized by robert mallet stevens then andrée putman who reissued it via ecart international from 1978. This model is a reissue of ecart international (rms marking on the underside of the chair) the model presented here is an original model (much rarer for sale than unstamped reissues); some traces of corrosion on the bottom of the bars dimensions: height 825mm (seat 440mm); width 400mm; depth 470mm price: indicated per piece (3 identical chairs available) source: “industrial furniture” by brigitte burieux.
