Renaissance-style wardrobe

Original solid oak wardrobe, beautifully crafted in France, mid-20th century. Numerous carved motifs in the wood with pronounced reliefs on the door facades. Birds facing each other can be seen at the top of the doors, along with scrolls and floral decorations. The lower band is scalloped, decorated with an inscription in the central roundel: 1789. Symbolic motifs; duality and freedom. The structure of the piece is entirely made of solid oak, in a dark colour. The front uprights are rounded. Removable pediment. Two large doors open to reveal a spacious storage area fitted with shelves and a central partition that extends three-quarters of the height. Shelves are made of solid wood, sanded and varnished, 25 mm thick. Two shelves made of compressed wood are covered with red velvet. Lock entries in aged iron. Lock on the right door, functional, with one key provided. The piece is sound, stable, and robust, capable of supporting a lot of weight, in very good condition. Dimensions of the cabinet: 127 cm wide, 61 cm deep. Top shelf: 122x51 cm. Other shelves: 60x51 cm. Different heights between shelves from top to bottom: 41 cm/41 cm/41 cm/48 cm. This wardrobe can be easily disassembled with Roman head screws.
