French 18th Century Religious Statue of the Virgin Mary on a cloud

An 18th century oak statue with its original polychromy depicting mary kneeling on a cloud. The right arm and crown are missing. This statue comes with the original certificate from the antique dealer who sold it in 1978. The image shows a religious statue of the virgin mary, specifically likely representing our lady of the rosary, standing on a cloud. This statue is a devotional object within the catholic faith, serving as a focal point for prayer and reflection. The statue was made of polychromed oak wood, in shades of gold, blue, white, and brown. It shows mary in a flowing robe and possibly armor, with a serene expression.  Our lady of the rosary is a title of the virgin mary associated with the practice of praying the rosary. The feast day of our lady of the rosary is celebrated on october 7th.
