Large lacquered cabinet from shanxi province (northern china). 18th century. Gold leaf decoration of 8 medallions on a black background. Inside, block of two drawers with shelf and chest in the lower part. Bought in beijing in the early 80s. Red wax stamp from the chinese customs cultural affairs office on the inside of the right door.
