Double school desk Stella renovated

Description: double school desk made by stella in the 50s. The original label of the stella brand is present. This desk consists of 2 chairs and a desk whose tray, with 2 flaps, rises to access 2 separate storage lockers. On the fixed part of the tray, there are the two old inkwells and 2 small notches to wedge a few pencils. The seats are made of solid wood as well as the storage boxes. The tray is covered with an oak veneer. The structure of the set is provided by a tubular metal structure whose original paint is dark green. Renovation: the wooden parts have been completely sanded and cleaned. The interior of the storage boxes is painted in the color tatihou of algo painting (bio-based paint, with algae). All the other wooden parts are covered with an eco-friendly-class varnish. The metal parts have been cleaned and glossed. Status: the office is strong and stable, the flaps work well. Despite the renovation, there are still imperfections or traces of time, they are related to the age of the furniture and participate in its charm. In particular, it is noted that the original paint of the metal parts is worn in many places. There are also traces of indelible ink on the wooden parts (especially on the tray and around the inkwells). There are some traces of impact on the wooden parts. Finally, the oak veneer of the tray has become grey with time. Total dimensions: height 69 cm, width 120 cm, depth 87 cm. Height of the tray: 64 cm. Seat height: 38 cm.
