Thonet armchair late 19th century

Armchair model no. 4 by Michael Thonet, dating from the late 19th century, around 1885, and bearing his stamp. A piece with an emblematic design from the Thonet house, featuring a bent wood structure and a beautiful antique patina. The caning of the seat has been completely redone by a professional. It is also worth noting that the legs have been shortened previously (by 2 cm), bringing the seat height to 45 cm. The overall piece has a lovely presence and is in well-maintained condition.
