Oak farmhouse bench, circa 40's /50's

How not to fall in love. Large french vintage farmhouse, around the 40s/50s. This handmade piece was made in the périgord. It is made of oak and chestnut wood and has a long seat resting on four wooden legs, which are attached to the seat, with an ancient fixing system, typical of the time. The piece is in good original and vintage condition, with of course marks and signs of age and previous use proportional to time, as well as a patina of time on the general structure, seat, and feet (see photos.) old marks and traces of woodworms on the entire structure (see photos), the piece was therefore completely treated, then coated with linseed oil and waxed for optimal protection, as well as to both feed and protect the wood. The part is solid and stable. With an organic a large accent piece, with an organic, clean and elegant design, which will work well with other vintage, rustic contemporary, modern or wabi-sabi decors. Seat dimensions: l: 181.5 cm d: 20 cm.
