Diabolo planter by Anton Bee and Willy Guhl for Eternit Switzerland 1950

In 1951, eternity ag sought to collaborate with external designers and asked willy guhl and his students to work on new plant containers. Eternit, developed for the manufacture of roofs and pipes, is a stable product with a fibrous texture resistant to tension, breakage and variation. For guhl, "no building material used so finely gives as much stability as eternit." In good condition, some visible signs of wear.
