Open bookcase in solid mahogany and veneer, late 19th C.

Beautiful solid mahogany and veneer bookcase from the end of the 19th century. This open piece of furniture has 3 adjustable shelves in height. Its simple decorations will allow it to integrate many styles of decoration as well as different rooms (office, library, living room, etc.) The top is decorated with a finely sculpted brass pediment. This piece of furniture having had several lives, it shows some signs of use. Initially, the top of the bookcase was to accommodate a cornice which must not have survived time.
