Antique drop-front cabinet in oak with bronze decorations, Netherlands '800.

Dutch oak desk from the mid-19th century, featuring a curved front with three drawers. The protruding legs at a forty-five-degree angle end in elegant claw feet, giving the piece a robust and distinctive appearance. The desk is equipped with a pair of sliding side supports for the drop-down writing surface, which conceals a refined interior compartment. Inside, tiered side drawers, open compartments, and a central door provide a functional and well-organized space. A secret compartment beneath the surface adds a touch of mystery and utility. The intricately carved and gilded bronze lock entries and handles further enhance the design, while restorations ensure the preservation of the piece's structural and aesthetic integrity.
