solid wood vase carved brutalist vintage

Solid wood vase carved brutalist early twentieth century. Monoxyl piece carved from a single piece of wood. Very nice overall condition. Remarkable patina. Note that the barrel is not perfectly vertical because the creator of the piece had to adapt to the constraints imposed by the thread of the wood. The total height of the vase is 23 cm, and its total width is 14.5 cm. The diameter of the circular base is 13 cm. The wood is dense and heavy, and the weight of the very stable piece is 1.1 kg.
