Vintage Marble Bookends, 1930

A pair of book rests from the 1930s. Made of noble marble. This interesting combination will add elegance to any study, library or other interior. The two book rests are heavy and tall enough, so they can successfully hold books of larger sizes upright. They are distinguished by a very elegant material structure and a simple, almost ascetic form. Preserved in original condition, with a few minor losses. One of the decorative black circles has a crack.
