Floor lamp made in germany in the 1970s by staff leuchten. Impressive floor lamp consisting of a forged cast iron base, chrome frame and cream lampshade. The lamp is made of high quality materials, it is heavy and solid. Under the lampshade there is a light system patented by staff, thanks to which we can mount up to 3 bulbs. Two bulbs are directed downwards and one in a special tube (you can see it in the pictures) is directed upwards. The lamp has 3 lighting modes - up, down and both, thanks to which we can adjust the brightness to the climate we want to achieve. Staff leuchten or staff & schwarz leuchtenwerk was founded by alfred staff and otto schwarz in lemgo in 1945. Within a year, the company grew by 15 employees and produced the first wrought iron luminaires. Over the next three decades, staff became a world leader in design excellence, receiving over 200 awards for its achievements. Staff collaborated with the italian company stilnovo. They released a joint catalog in the 1970s. Dutch raak and danish lyfa sold several lamps designed by staff in the 1960s and 1970s. The lamp is preserved in very good condition, the frame and the base look great. The lampshade has minor dirt visible in the photos, overall it looks nice. Dimensions: Height - 160 cm. Lampshade diameter - 50 cm.
