Sweet jar or apothecary jar

Was it a sweet jar or an apothecary jar? Made of thick, transparent glass, with a lid. Without its lid, it can be used as a vase. Three sides are worked with "reliefs" and the back is plain (see photo taken from each side). The lid is intricately designed with numerous sun-like reliefs. Overall good condition. On one side, there is a long transverse scratch that is not very noticeable from a normal distance (see photo "side 3 + close-up highlighted in orange). There are signs of age (a few micro rust spots, see photo) that blend with the natural imperfections of the thick glass (small manufacturing bubbles). The lid is damaged at the base (see photo). I have polished the glass a bit so that the edge is not sharp. This does not affect the aesthetics once placed on the jar. You can also forget the lid and use it as a vase.
