Occasional table inlaid with a retractable mirror – 19th century

An elegant little antique table that cleverly conceals its purpose. When closed, it appears as a marquetry side table, easy to place in an entrance, a bedroom, or a living room. Its top lifts to reveal an antique mirror and a storage space that can hold jewellery, accessories, or small precious items. It also features a front drawer with a beautifully crafted key. Its four tapered and fluted legs, along with its light wood inlays, give it a slender silhouette inspired by the Louis XVI style. This versatile table can serve as a small console, jewellery table, work table, occasional side table, or dressing table. It retains a lovely antique patina.
