Large Louis XVI Period 18th Century Blackened Wood Flat Desk

Large flat desk in blackened wood, molded and carved, louis XVI period. It opens with four drawers, one of which is double, and two pull-outs. The top and pull-outs are covered in red leather gilded with small iron. Rests on four sheathed feet ending in gilded bronze sabots, the uprights with grooves. Gilded bronze lock entries. Keys present and working locks. Louis XVI period, 18th century. Height 76 cm, width 163 cm, depth 81.5 cm, pull-out 45 cm X 2.
