Large Louis XV style marquetry desk – red leather top and bronze fittings.

Superb Louis XV style desk, richly decorated, with elegant curves and flowing lines. The top is dressed in patinated red leather, framed by a marquetry belt with refined patterns. The desk features side extensions, allowing for an increased surface area as needed. The front is enhanced with drawers and adorned with finely chiselled decorative bronzes, resting on four curved legs finished with hooves. Overall good condition. Visible wear on the leather (patina, marks), consistent with use and age.
