Onyx egg cup

Very beautiful egg cup carved from a mineral material, either onyx or marble (difficult for me to say as I am not a specialist) with a lovely veining predominantly in salmon pink but also beige, caramel, white, orange, and even a hint of blue. It is in generally good condition, with no cracks or chips on the edges but a few tiny losses or nicks on the outer rim, almost invisible, possibly even original flaws of the stone used. It measures 6 cm in height, 4.5 cm in outer diameter, and 3.8 cm in inner diameter at the top of the egg cup. It weighs just over 100g.
