Chinese letter cabinets from the 19th century

Provenance: Shanxi Province, China. Period: 19th century. Material: Red lacquered elm wood and brass fittings. Condition: Good condition and fully restored. Description: Pair of scholar's cabinets with a slightly trapezoidal shape, on four tubular legs, with double bodies and two double doors closed by rectangular fittings with a key and double tenons for a flat drop handle. Certified as period and origin, in Paris on 5 May 2004.
