The armchair model No. 719 F manufactured by the Jacob Josef Kohn company in 1902 is frequently attributed to Koloman Moser, also sometimes to Gustave Siegel. Kohn invented the "90° curve" with extraction of the compressed part inside the curve, both designers used them in the designs of their models. Dimensions: height: 86 cm, width (ht): 54 cm, depth (ht): 56 cm and seat height: 44 cm. This armchair is a remarkable example of the elegant and innovative aesthetics of Viennese Art Nouveau. This work in beech and brass reflects the ability of designers of the time to harmoniously combine functionality and decoration. It can be found in the Kohn catalog of 1915, it is no longer represented in the Thonet / Mundus / Kohn catalogs from 1920. This armchair is upholstered in a Backhausen fabric (Zackenkrone, design by Joseph Hoffmann N°MD586A06) the back of the backrest is lined with neutral white leather. We have kept the brass feet in their patina of life. More photos and information on request. Shipping France and Europe or collection Alsace.
