Rectangular tablecloth and its matching vintage hand-embroidered napkin – Sweet peas

Vintage table set including a rectangular mat and its matching napkin. These sets belonged to my grandmother. It's beautiful linen that she kept safe for special occasions. It deserves to find a lovely table and a second life! The pattern features hand-embroidered sweet pea branches in pink, blue, and mauve, with green swirling stems. The mat has a main motif in one corner and a smaller reminder in the opposite corner. The napkin also showcases a floral reminder. Although the set does not have a label, the care taken in the stitching and the floral style correspond to productions from houses like Porthault or Valombreuse (without a brand but of rigorously identical quality). Both pieces are bordered with handmade ladder lace. The fabric is an old high-quality linen thread, white and with a beautiful drape. The condition is impeccable.
