"Skye" armchair in black leather, Ikea 1987

Vintage Skye leather armchair designed by Tord Björklund for IKEA in 1987, featuring an elegant black lacquered tubular metal frame upholstered in black leather with an integrated headrest and straight legs with reinforcing bars. The leather has a beautiful patina, with normal wear for its age but no tears. A small seam in the fabric at the back of the headrest needs repairing, but it's nothing serious. As comfortable as it is decorative. A beautiful, iconic piece. Affordable price.
