Set of cantilever lounge chairs no. 31 by Alvar Aalto, 1930s.

This set of two cantilever chairs No. 31 was designed by Alvar Aalto and manufactured by Huonekalu-ja Rakennustyotehdas in Finland in the 1930s. These pieces of modern Scandinavian design are made of birch and plywood, illustrating a design period from 1920 to 1949. The chairs are in good vintage condition, showing slight wear consistent with age and use, as well as a patina. One chair has a veneer restoration, as shown in the photographs. Each chair measures 61 cm wide, 75 cm deep, and 65 cm high. Please note that the weight range is standard, between 40 kg and 80 kg.
