Lamp from the French house pirouett, art deco

Articulated table lamp from Pirouett. In chrome-plated brass and white opaline glasses, this model was created in 1938. Ingenious and beautiful, this lamp consists of a base with a shaft in which the arm holding the opaline projector slides to adjust the height and can be tilted at the desired angle. Its four-sided projector also orients front to back and tilts slightly to the sides. A lighting fixture that has a personality, a presence, all restrained as the art deco period knew how to do so well. Its cast iron base provides perfect stability, especially when changing positions. The condition of the assembly and the chrome is remarkable. A very small dent on the barrel visible in a photo but little in reality. Dimensions: height from 33 cm to 46 cm and base diameter 14cm.
