Danish design hanging lamp by jo hammerborg, produced by fog&mørup, model sera from 1968. The wildest ceiling lamp in aluminium with anthracite coloured belt around. Sera is the flattest and widest member of johannes hammerborg's saturn series - a collection of lamps in which hammerborg explored the art of creating balance and proportion in form through a structure of two concentric cylindrical bands in many different variations of height and width. A very beautiful pendant. Lovely original purple/pink contrasting colour which helps to give the lamp the most beautiful light. In the link below, sera was featured in fog&morup's 1968 catalogue.
