Vintage soliflore vase in the shape of a ewer, made of silver-plated metal. Low droplet-shaped body, elongated neck that flares out to a spout opening. Flat, fine, and taut handle, attached to the spout and the base of the neck. Polished surface with a mirror-like finish, without decoration, featuring a light patina. Heavy base, ensuring good stability for this slender silhouette, closed with a protective felt. Likely made in the 1960s or 1970s. The stripped-down line and the handle reduced to a simple line reflect the modernist vocabulary of the post-war period, common in small silver-plated table objects from this era. This vase can find its place on a bedside table, a desk, a shelf, or a dining table, for a fresh stem or a dry branch. The polished metal can suit a clean or minimalist decor as well as a more bohemian chic interior. Height: 18 cm, base diameter: 6 cm. Weight: 300 g. Generally in good condition, with micro-scratches and a few small spots of oxidation on the body and neck. Please feel free to contact me for more information.
