Transparent moulded glass lampshade with a faceted silhouette, vintage production from the second half of the 20th century. Its flared shape evokes a geometric lantern. The decoration consists of a dense mesh of raised diamonds that covers the entire surface. Depending on the angle of view, the glass appears either crystalline or slightly undulating. The light refracts in each facet, creating a particularly rich play of reflections. When lit, the lampshade diffuses a soft light while projecting fine luminous vibrations onto the surrounding surfaces. When off, it retains a sculptural presence thanks to its graphic relief. It can be used as a pendant above a bedside table, in an entrance, a corridor, or a kitchen. It also works very well in pairs above an island or counter. Several aligned examples can create a rhythmic decorative lighting. It is also suitable for making a table lamp or a bedside lamp. Sold with E14 socket and wire clamp. Very good overall condition.
