Facet-cut pressed glass pendant

Transparent pressed glass lampshade, vintage production from the 1970s-1980s. The decoration covers the entire surface with a succession of pyramids and geometric facets moulded into the glass. Each relief acts as a small prism that captures and diffracts light. The overall effect evokes the aesthetic of cut crystal while maintaining the robustness of moulded glass. The slightly bulging shape adds presence without visually weighing down the space. When illuminated, the relief creates bright flashes and graphic projections on the walls and furniture. The glass has a beautiful transparency with slight nuances due to the thicknesses and facets. Sold with a gold metal E14 socket and wire clamp. Three pieces available. Possible uses: Suspension above a bedside table, entrance or hallway lighting, a series of three pendants above an island or counter, bathroom lighting (excluding regulated areas), creating a handmade table lamp, cluster light composition.
