Fishing chest fisherman stool

This very beautiful fishing chest will find many uses: it can obviously be used to go fishing, but it will also make original and decorative storage for sewing equipment for example, or even painting, or why not act as a storage sofa or side stool. It has 4 compartments, one of which, and this is where its originality lies, is a thin drawer on the side. It must date from the 60s or 70s. It also has the advantage of being in very good condition: the red and black leatherette of the seat is intact, no perforations, and I cleaned it carefully to remove the dust embedded in the reliefs. I also cleaned everything and applied a thin layer of varnish to the chipboard walls. It is solid and stable but still has some small signs of age or use: rare small marks and scratches on the wood, the mark of a sticker (I removed it and removed any sticky trace), some beetle holes that I treated by injecting white vinegar (this is the natural method to replace chemical insecticide). The metal clasps are functional and in very good condition, no corrosion. It measures 43 cm in height, 38 cm in width, 28 cm in depth and weighs approximately 3 or 4 kg.
