Very Art Deco in burl maple and thuja wood by Andrew Vara.

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning original Andrew Varah sideboard in burr maple and thuya wood. This sideboard is one of the most beautiful I have seen in a long time, crafted from burr maple with thuya wood inlay. It features a curved front above a recessed front centred by a drawer and a cupboard flanked by cabinets containing two shelves with turned ball handles, and the sides have shaped supports accentuated. The seller also has the large matching dining table listed in their other items. The piece has been cleaned, waxed, and polished from top to bottom; there may be some light patina marks due to age and use, but it appears to be in very good overall condition. Note that vintage and original items like leather seating will have natural patina in the form of cracks, creases, and wear. It is recommended to regularly wax to prevent moisture loss, and hand-dyed leather should not be exposed to direct and prolonged sunlight as it dries out and discolours.
