Art Deco Desk Ralph Lauren Macassar & leather

We are delighted to offer you this extremely rare French Art Deco Metropolis desk signed by Ralph Lauren, made of curved Macassar wood with a hand-dyed cigar brown leather writing surface that is customised. The desk is designed to accommodate a home computer system, with a pre-drilled passage for a printer cable on the left side and filing drawers on the right. It has been cleaned, waxed, and polished from top to bottom. There is a beautiful honest patina with slight signs of transport or storage. Desk dimensions: height 76 cm, width 160 cm, depth 80 cm. Leg space dimensions: height 63 cm, width 60 cm. The original leather has been replaced with exclusive hand-dyed brown leather with a lot of authentic patina, elevating this desk to a prime piece. Please note that this product shows wear consistent with age and use, including slight discolourations, characteristic of vintage items such as leather.
