Modular shelf in "String" style, Vintage Authentic & Upcycled. Stunning wall shelf with iconic Scandinavian design from the 1960s. This unique piece combines the authentic charm of vintage with the robustness of careful artisanal restoration. The Structure (1960s): The two side ladders made of black wire are original. Typical of post-war modernist furniture (in the spirit of Tomado or String productions). The Shelves (Artisanal creation): Originally made of fragile particle board that had seen better days, the 4 shelves have been completely recreated from scratch in solid pine wood. They have been custom-cut with the characteristic side groove for a perfect fit. A High-Quality Finish: To give them this superb warm hue and ensure their longevity, the wood has undergone a complete treatment: a stain for colour, an application of linseed oil to deeply nourish the wood, and finally two layers of wax applied by hand for a silky touch and lasting protection. Stronger and more noble than an original particle board model, and infinitely more authentic than a modern mass-produced copy.
