Cartel Napoleon III marquetry Boulle and base

Very beautiful little cartel resting on four curved legs with its original base, napoleon III period and louis XV style, in wood and marquetry called "boulle" tortoiseshell and brass nets decorated with leafy rinceaux, gilded bronze trim and finely chiseled, sun balance. Enamelled round dial showing hours in roman numerals and minutes in arabic numerals. The rear door reveals a mechanism to be revised. Beautiful overall condition. Napoleon III period work. Dimensions with base: 31.5 X 21.5 X 15 cm.
