Rare Wmf Ikora Cup. Circa 1930s. WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) produced a line of artistic glasses called Ikora between the late 1920s and the 1950s. These pieces were mouth-blown and often feature distinctive characteristics such as: Bright colors (often layered or doubled glass, like the green rim seen here). Experimental techniques (bubbles, veining, metallic inclusions). Organic and modernist shapes. Each ikora piece is unique as they were individually produced and not mass-produced. Height 8.3 cm. Diameter 30.7 cm. Weight 1570 grams. Good condition, note signs of use, visible in the photo.
