Antique Louis XV paneled table with 3 front drawers in solid cherry wood

Very beautiful antique Louis XV paneled table with three drawers on the front and a pull-out on one side. Made of solid cherry wood, the panels are solid elm and have serrated crossbars. The top is chestnut (the cabinetmaker may not have had enough cherry for the top at the time of its manufacture). Also known as a crowbar table. Formerly highly prized by Anglo-Saxon antique dealers, it has been somewhat overlooked on the French market. But it still remains the finest rustic Louis XV table of this style. Can be used as a center table, console table, behind a sofa, etc. Sold as is. In its original condition, as they say in antique jargon - flea market. See photos.
