Accolay ceramic floor lamp, 1970

Large and rare lamp designed by Georges Pelletier for the potters of Accolay (Yonne) in the 1970s. A beautiful example of the poetic and bold expertise of the Burgundy workshop. The hand-crafted glazed ceramic base features a textured decoration and deep shades of glass shards typical of Accolay creations. Its original translucent resin shade diffuses a soft, warm light, tinged with amber, which beautifully highlights the texture of the base. An authentic piece, both decorative and steeped in history, perfect on a vintage sideboard, a bench, or simply placed on the floor. Condition: Very good original condition, working electrical wiring.
