Covered sauceboat with a polychrome ironstone base Longchamp Daisy.

Magnificent antique sauceboat with its lid and matching base, made of ironstone from the Longchamp pottery, Daisy model. A superb piece with a polychrome floral decoration in delicate shades of pink, mauve, red, yellow, and green, enhanced by fine arabesques and foliage. Its elegant shape, small worked handles, lid, and fully decorated base make it a particularly refined piece, ideal for a beautiful antique table or to complement a collection service. Overall good condition for its age, with some minor signs of use and old stains. Note: the handle of the lid has unfortunately been broken and then glued back. This repair is visible in the photographs. Despite this flaw, the whole piece retains its charm and remains a very lovely item.
