19th Century Commode Transition in Marquetry – Marble – Château d’Arcangues

Elegant Transition-style chest of drawers in veneered wood and marquetry, 19th century. The front features a central projection opening with three rows of drawers, curved legs, bronze fittings, and a very beautiful white marble top heavily veined with green. Provenance: Château d’Arcangues, furniture from the d’Arcangues family, dispersed during the sale of the château in September 2026. Documented provenance. Dimensions: 88 × 90.5 × 47 cm. In good overall condition considering its age. Some small accidents and visible veneer losses, as well as the normal signs of use of an antique piece. Marble in good overall condition. A decorative piece with a strong presence, with proportions particularly easy to integrate into both contemporary and classic interiors.
