Decorative plate émaux longwy

Magnificent lobed dish with scalloped edges in polychrome cloisonné enamels on earthenware made by the historic Longwy enamel factory from 1798. Entirely hand-decorated according to the unique, historical, and traditional craftsmanship of the Longwy factory. [Denise Masson] MADE IN FRANCE Condition: The dish is in very good overall condition (no chips, cracks, impacts, or flakes…). However, it has 3 small "black spots" (see photos) quite typical of this type of production, and I have included so many photos to try to show you that the dish has some marks in certain places (notably in the corners). These are not scratches but marks (like a dark-coloured limescale residue). I tried to photograph the dish from all angles and with light from the front or at an angle, but the photos struggle to convey the reality of these marks! However, do not be misled; despite these "marks" (especially visible up close), the dish is truly magnificent and in superb condition, and will be a sumptuous and luxurious decorative element for your interior! Carefully packaged for shipping! Reminder: The historic Longwy enamels on crackled earthenware are not meant to withstand water! So NEVER soak the dish. (It is a decorative item).
