Superb decorative flat plate made of Chinese export porcelain (Macao style / Famille Rose). The central medallion features a charming design of a bird perched on a branch of blooming peonies, surrounded by a richly adorned midnight blue border with reserves of dragonflies, butterflies, and water flowers. Ideal for display on a stand, as a catch-all, or mounted on the wall. Type: Decorative flat plate. Origin: Macao (origin label "Made in Macao" and red stamp on the back) Era: Vintage (second half of the 20th century, approx. 1970-1980) Technique: Polychrome glazed porcelain (pink, yellow, blue) enhanced with gold.
