Sarreguemines zoomorphic fish dish

Charming and large enameled ceramic fish dish which will look great on a table or why not hung on the wall in a collection with other zoomorphic dishes. We can also imagine it as a large empty pocket in an entryway. Its pretty green color (the photo where the color is closest to the real color is the one where the dish is “standing” against the wall) and its stylized lines mixing curves and straight lines recall the codes of art deco. The stamp below indicates that it is a dish from the famous sarreguemines factory and allows us to date it between 1920 and 1950 according to my research. It is in good general condition, no cracks, no shine but does not hide some signs of its age (a very barely visible scratch on the enameling) or original defect: an uncolored area. It measures 53 cm in length, 26 cm in width, 4 cm in maximum height.
